These “little guys”, as we affectionately called them, will be guiding you through Issue 03. During our initial theme research and exploration, we dug into some old books about mysticism, optical illusions, and other-worldly phenomenon.⁠

Rituals and ceremonies take us to new realms. We thought it was fitting to invite these curious creatures into our pages! They are interspersed throughout and serve as a reminder that we are not alone.⁠

Sneak peek + hot tip! 🔥 We wanted to share a little bit about our process when we go through submissions. We're going to highlight the short fiction piece "Page 142" by N.T. Anh (@anhphily) that's included in the upcoming issue!
We really liked the use of 1-line paragraphs that help move the story along and focus on the action. Making the most of each sentence and paragraph is crucial! It helps give the story a little more punch and allows us to envision it in the magazine.
We hope this helps when you craft and submit longer pieces. Let us know what you think!
