In this issue, we set out to explore Risk. We feel our contributors delivered daring, bold pieces that reach for the reward on the other side of risk. They have reminded us that risk is inevitable. Loving involves risk. Standing up for our values takes a risk. Sometimes, simply existing involves risk.
The visual and written work presented has shown us that risk makes us inherently vulnerable. It is a physically and mentally draining endeavor that leaves the soul tender. Whether win, lose or draw, we all want to return to a sense of comfort by the end of it.
